Digital Product License

This license explains how you may use the Excel templates and other digital products you buy from BabaDigit (babadigit.com). By downloading or using a product, you agree to these terms. The license applies to the person or business that made the purchase (the “purchaser”).
1. Use in your own work and business
You may use a purchased product for your own personal work and for your business, including commercial work that earns you money. You may install it on the devices you use and let employees or colleagues within your own organisation use it for your organisation’s work.
2. Use for your clients
You may use a purchased product to prepare work for your own clients — for example budgets, forecasts, financial statements, invoices or analyses. You may deliver the finished outputs to your clients, including completed workbooks that contain your client’s data, reports, PDFs and printouts. The client may keep and use those deliverables. Delivering a filled-in workbook to a client as part of your service is allowed; supplying the blank template for the client to reuse independently is covered by section 4.
3. Modifying the template
You may edit, extend and customise a product for your own work or your client work — changing layouts, formulas, labels, colours and branding, and adding your own logo. A modified version is still based on the original template, so the limits in section 4 continue to apply to it.
4. What you may not do
Unless BabaDigit agrees otherwise in writing, you may not:
- Resell or redistribute the template. You may not sell, sublicense, give away or otherwise redistribute the original template, or a modified or rebranded version of it, as a template or product in its own right.
- Share the original file. You may not share, upload or send the original downloaded file (blank or with only sample data) to anyone outside your organisation, or post it on a website, file-sharing service, marketplace or free-download site.
- Claim the template as your own. You may not present the template’s design, structure or formulas as your own original product, or remove any BabaDigit notices in order to do so.
- Use BabaDigit’s name or branding in a way that suggests BabaDigit endorses your product or service.
5. Ownership
BabaDigit keeps ownership of, and all intellectual property rights in, the template design, structure and content. Your purchase gives you a licence to use the product as described on this page; it does not transfer ownership. You own your own data and the outputs you create with the product.
6. Free products
Free tools and downloads may be used on the same basis as purchased products unless the specific product page says otherwise.
7. Updates
Where practical, customers who purchase a product may receive access to minor updates to that same product version. Updates are not guaranteed.
8. No warranty for results
Templates are provided to help you organise and calculate information. You are responsible for checking the figures, formulas and results before relying on them. Nothing in a product is financial, tax, accounting or legal advice.
